Servers
All array members have identical configuration information. Firewall policy, caching, VPN, and network configuration are managed centrally and applied identically to each array member. The centralized administration can mean greater security.
Some configuration information is applied uniquely to each array member, listed in the server node:
  • Load factor, indicating the relative cache availability of the member server.
  • IP address on the member server, to use for intra-array communication.
How To...

You can perform the following tasks:

task icon Delete selected server: Select the applicable server. Then, on the Tasks tab, click Delete Selected Server. (You cannot delete the last server in the array.)
task icon Configure server-specific properties: Select the applicable server. Then, on the Tasks tab, click Configure Selected Server.
